Curious as to how many people leave this option on, or turn it off?

I always leave WiiConnect24 on because there is no point in turning it off. I like to always be connected with everyone I have registered on the Wii...at all times.

used to leave it on 24/7..
will do again once i dust it off and plug it in again.
hadnt touched the thing in so long, but now that mariokart and no more heroes are both i think it deserves a welcome back play

I don't leave it on because it seems to get too hot so i turn it off over night then turn it back on at day time 
F.R- if you turn it off & turn it back on the next day you'll still recieve all the messages that your friends send you.

My wii is in my room so I unplug it at night since there's the annoying green light on the power switch. You get messages when the wii is off, the blue light pops up when you get one too...

I don't think they mean actually leaving on the Wii, I think that is what some people think ^^

My Wii is always on standby, WiiConnect24 never makes my Wii that hot so I don't bother turning it off.

Green means on, red is off, orange is standby/WiiConnect24.

i turn it off
i hate when Im sleeping and you see the blue light that wakes me up =p
i think its better to receive the messages when I actually want to look at my wii (when I play it)

I've had mine on since November 2006 and have no problems with overheating. It was designed to be on all the time so unless you have poor ventilation or a defective Wii, it's not going to hurt anything.

most gaming consols run hot they are made to be able wistand this... the standbuy funtion is their for a reason they wouldnt have it unless it would be able 2 cope... just becouse your wii is hot doesnt mean it is doing anything bad same with computers est
