You would be better off selling it on ebay and or to a friend for roughly $250.00. Selling your console to Game Stop is a terrible idea as you wont get much in return for it.
As everyone has stated above, you really won't get much from GameStop. They'll give you crap so they can make more. You should just sell it to a friend, or trade with one. Don't turn to GameStop or any other game selling store due to you won't get the money you deserve for it, turing to one of them should be your last option.
That's what I would highly suggest too. Unlike eBay, Craigslist is free to use. Also, when you post something for sale, it can only be bought by people in the same area as you. It's an easy interface to use and you'll make more money than GameStop would give you.

Last time I had a Wii to sell, I had better luck with CL than eBay. I think there are more Wiis on the market now, and eBay is seeing a glut of them so you can't get as much money anymore. Everyone goes to eBay to try to turn a profit.
Meanwhile, CL has better appeal since there are no fees (with eBay you've got listing fees, final auction fees, and PayPal fees which take a huge cut out of what you get), and the buyer feels safer since they meet you in-person and can see the product before giving you money. Plus they get instant gratification.
I sold a Wii overnight on CL for more than I listed it several times for on eBay.
