This week Europe is getting another big Nintendo title before North America in the form of Wii Fit. Australians can finally get behind the wheel of Mario Kart Wii, while NA still has a week to go. In NA this week, none the new releases compare to what other regions are getting.
North America
This week THQ is pitting 11 bands against each other to duke it out for the grand prize. Battle of the Bands features 30 classic and modern tracks with remixes and single & multiplayer modes. Nintendo's exercise craze is ready to take Europe by storm. Australia
Mario Kart Wii is finally in the hands of Australians, two weeks after Japan and Europe. The game features influences from games such as Super Mario Galaxy, and contains 16 classic and 16 new tracks, and 33 characters. The game's online mode is the best Nintendo has offered so far and those currently with the game claim it is relatively free of lag. Emergency Mayhem is also releasing this week if driving vehicles to help people in need is more your cup of tea compared to steering around shells and bananas.

This week North America is having one of those 'meh' weeks. Battle of the bands is an interesting idea but not the top notch title rhythm games have become with the likes of GHIII and Rock Band. The other titles are cheap budget ones...might be worth checking out have you have a buck spare.
This week is pretty big for Europe as they'll be receiving the wildly anticipated Wii Fit which kicked up a storm in Japan. It'll retail for £69.99, is it worth it? The Nintendo crowd is split. The other titles M&M racing and Kawasaki are more budget low Q. titles that you'll want to miss.
This week Australia is receiving two vehicles games in the form of Mario Kart, a big title for nintendo which is already released in Europe and Japan. The other title is Emergency mayhem which has you driving social service vehicles like police cars, not the best title but more effort than some games have had.
