I think for the most part people knew about this, it was talked about with the WiiWare launch which is also in May. Oh well it doesn't hurt to hear it again, can't wait for Wii Previews and DS Demos .

O.k great good for the U.S but what about hte rest of Europe? Is there any news on when it will be available in the UK or will we have to wait another 6 months like we normaly do ???

Finally! This will save trips to viral infested websites, to watch trailers on games, to see if they are even worth buying. In other news the PS3 Home got delayed till Fall. Bummer to PS3 owners. It looks like overall it takes time to launch stuff like this.

I'm not sure how old you guys are, or how many computers you have gone through. But this is a fact. No security system is perfect, and give those SOB hackers(Now owned by big business) enough time, they'll crack your system with a nice trojan/virus/worm if you tend to visit hot spots on the internet often. I haven't had a computer virus since Windows Vista launched, which is great(I own XP, and don't use IE). One day we may see hackers and viruses go away, but right now don't ever say anything is 100% safe. You are just begging for trouble later.
At least with the Wii there's far less damage a hacker can inflict.

Well, I've been a computer IT professional for almost 20 years. I've gone through my share of computers.

Not talking about "perfection". I'm talking about how there are browsers that are exponentially more-secure than Internet Explorer. I prefer Firefox, there are others too.
People settling with IE as their web browser makes as much sense as settling on Notepad for their word processor, simply because "it came with Windows". The hypocrites were able to download and install AIM... I think they can download and install Firefox.
There are OSes that are exponentially more-secure than Windows, but that's a separate discussion.
