I'm trying to connect my wii to my wireless internet connection but i dont have a clue where i can find any of the passcodes i need to connect to my wireless network. I have a Netgear wireless router. The wii can find my network but i cant connect as i cant find the passcode. Any ideas on where this passcode would be? thanks x

Hmm, you may have to go to Netgear's Web site and look in the Knowledge base or the like for the particular router model you own. It may have a default passcode, unless someone set up extra security in the router...

It depends what passcode you are referring to. Are you trying to get into the configuration screen of the router by typing it's address (ie: 192.168.1.1)? If so, most routers (well, Linksys anyway) has a default ID and password (no ID, password = admin). It would remain this way unless you have changed it (which you should do).
If you are talking about the WEP keys then you have to go to the wireless security section and find out what the keys are (use key #1).
Check out this link to see if it helps:

Just saw your post, the WPA key (which is a better encryption) should be in the wireless security section as well.

As far as I can decipher, when you say "passcode" you're actually meaning the WEP or WPA key.
There's no default. If you've set up encryption on your router, you chose the key. You either need to log into your router and get the key (if it will display it), otherwise you'll need to clear it and set a new key (at which point any devices currently connecting to the router with the old key will break and need to be set up with the new key).

If you change the WPA key on the router, every machine connecting via WiFi will have to have it's key changed to match.
If you're just changing the key on your machine to match the existing key on the router, then, no that doesn't effect any other machine on the network.
