They probably like the GC controller setup better. In my case, I don't like that you have to plug the Classic Controller into the Remote. It is much cheaper to buy GC controllers for multiplayer than Classic Controllers because you need a Remote for every Classic Controller.

I think some people on here are interested in the gamecube controller for some of their gamecube games?? And not just the VC games.
And as we all know, the classic controller does not play the GC games.
