no..not at all ... the blue neon light looks preatty cool.. i bought it for style and the possibly might might a keep the wii a small fraction cooler is just icing
on the cake...

Me neither. I power it all the way down to red at nighttime or whenever I'm not using it too, since updates are pretty few and far between (and they can download when I turn it on, I'm not fussy). So I'm not concerned about it.

doesn't keeping your wii in a vertical position damage your game discs over time?
also, i'm pretty sure that with vertical stands, they somewhat defeat the purpose of the wii's internal cooling fan at its BASE...
