Nyko Rechargeables
Quick question for everyone.
I just got my Wii and it came with the cool clear Wiimote Jackets.
Now I am concerned if I get the Nyko Rechargeable station that Iw ill have to take my jacket off every time to charge it, which I am convinced will eventually rip it.
So a question to those of you that have one. Will I be able to recharge the Wiimote in the dock without having to take the jacket off? Thanks.

This sucks. Any reason why I should take them off? I find them very comfy, and some protection in case they fall is good too.
Should I just get some rechargeables at Radioshack or something?

Just take them off when you want to recharge them. As long as you dont force them off, they wont rip.
EDIT: Yeah, if I were you, I would just get some regular rechargeable batteries (I recommend energizer) and a fast charger. It will be a lot easier if you have to change out batteries in the middle of a game.

I have have several sets of rechargeable batteries and a 4 battery recharger. Got them at Walmart and they've worked great for years with my digital camera, wireless PS2 controllers, and now the Wii remotes. Although now the oldest batteries are starting to hold less of a charge. Still, that's great for 3 years of continuous use.
When you first turn the remote on the lights on it will indicate how much charge is left in the batteries, so you can use that to know when to change them out before they conk out while you're playing.

Nyko battery packs suck. Just get quality rechargeable NiMH AAs and a quality charger.

The higher the mAh rating, the less-frequently you'll be removing your skins to change them. And remember that batteries lose charge once removed from the charger, even if they aren't being used. So get a charger that keeps them topped off (many cheap ones don't and will damage batteries if left in once charged) and only remove them directly into the Wii remote for best results.

well i have recharable batteries(yes i have the exact same charger...) and what i did was...
i dident get the wii jackets for my motes because i got my wii be4 those were even out...
instead i picked up a wiimote glove seprate...
any way what i did was cut out the back of the glove, so that the 2 metal parts could connect, therefore enabling the wiimote to charge...
hope this helped!

I got the NYKO rechargeable station, and it's great, no problems here. It works fantastic.
