Has anyone modded a wii?
Has anyone here modded a wii here? What will a mod one do that a regular one wont. It is my understanding that it will play backed up games and old NES games. I am thinking about trying to modd mine.

i didnt mod it,,,my friend did and he guaranteed his work,,,for only 1 bill,,,then again he IS A FRIEND
but idk about those nes games,,,i know it plays all the burn games on the wii that i have tried,,,,have about 20 games and 18 of them are burned,,,,
and all work just fine
only have ssbb and mk that i bought,,

a modded wii would be able to play copied/pirated games. also in some cases it would allow different region games to be played.
not sure where your thinking of 'old NES games' come into it? how do you mean?

Not sure why someone would admit that they have 18 pirated games on a public forum... not the brightest thing to do.

If you completely know how to mod and are willing to deal with the consequences I'd say by all means go for it. Just be very sure you don't mess something up, and hope Nintendo doesn't detect it somewhere down the line. It is your system, do what you think is right.
