Those free games on the internet are supported by ads. I see no ads on the Wii, so you will most likely have to pay for all of the WiiWare games.

The kind of games they could give away are mini games like those in Wii Play....very simple stuff that's more proof of concept than anything else. This would give them an idea of what people like and don't like...and also help developers see what works and what doesn't.
yea i think original Mario 1-3 and DonkeyKong should be avail for free DL, or less wii points then 500. But with anything...everyones out to make a buck

i agree...a friend of mine has a xbox 360 and online we played a couple of demos. Actually its kinda smart marketing, once you get hooked on the demo and it ends, it makes you wanna buy it.
Ok first nintendo has two restrictions on wiiware
1) they can't collect peoples identities
2) no in-game ads
So if number two is correct then they are not going to have free games because they wouldn't be making money if they don't have ads to put in their games. Maybe nintendo wii think about it and drop no in-game ads idea so they can have free games!
