hello all new here did some reading and have a question for yous....I have to send in my Wii because it is defective and was wondering if there is a way to save all the info on the old one and put it on the new system???will a S.D card do this or how??? thanks in advance

Chances are you will get your exact same console back unless something is terribly wrong with it. Most games let you transfer saves to an SD card, however some do not.

Nintendo has stated that in almost every instance of repair that the memory would be transferable to a new system if needed (which they would handle.) Only extensive damage to the mobo/memory banks would stop the transfer from being able to be completed.

Don't worry, Nintendo has been A+ with their support and you should have no problems whatsoever.

ok thanks theysent me a new Wii and I still have my old one and have to send it back to them,,,so i will have a brand new one and want to transfer the info from old to new one eg. the songs on guitar hero

A new Wii huh... I am not sure how the transfer is going to work for the games that don't let you save to SD (if you have any.) I wish you luck in finding an answer however.
