You know Vegas casinos have (at least used to) daycare where the kiddies can play with gumball machines. They stick one gumball in and have the chance to win more. I am not kidding either. That is trying to get them hooked when they are little.

My daughter is 4 and she's good at Wii Bowling and Boxing, she's also getting better at Mario Kart Wii with the wheel (though she's still not great - you have to be selective on what tracks you drive).

However, one game I didn't see mentioned is Super Mario Galaxy.

My daughter and I played hours and hours of this... I drive Mario and do all the real platformy bits while she's Player 2. P2 has a very limited roll in the game but it keeps her busy: She has a yellow star she can aim around the screen to collect star bits, and she can press "A" to cause enemies and other dangerous elements to stay in place. She can also help Mario jump a little higher with "A". Plus she can press "B" to shoot star bits.

I had my doubts at first, but to be honest some parts of the game were much easier with her help and you get to experience the game together.

I would say (maybe) Wii Play, or Carnival Games because they seem pretty simple to play.

I enjoy Boom Blox also and it seems very simple to play, so I would also recommend that.

Carnival Games and Wii Sports. Someone has already recommended that, but I second that.

My older kid doesnt care for the Wii so he doesnt play it. The younger one likes the bowling and Carnival games but I suspect it is more about spending time with the hole family together.

He seems to do better at thinks like Ski Ball, etc. in real life for his age. I suspect it has helped his hand/eye coordination.

He is a happy well adjusted kid. Now if he starts drawing pictures of Satan on the Wii, I will take away his wii sports bowling privelages

You missunderstand me, I never said that this is what your situation is at the moment, I even said that 2 times a week is good . Note that I said it is a creeping addiction and the symptoms can only be recognized in the future. It's your child, do what you wish. I don't have to argue with you.
