Official price of wii!!!!!
i went on BBC news, and fiound that the wii will be £133 ($250) (25 000 yen). here, look yourself:

I just took this out of your article and it says 250 or less. Read the words.
The Wii will cost 25,000 yen or lower in Japan and $250 (£133) or less in the US, said Nintendo as it revealed its financial results

Yea this article is from back in May, more recent news is that Nintendo plan on revealing the exact price around September this year.

buuuuuuut. It says it goign to be LESS than £133, BBC can be quite a trsusted source. They were one of the first companies to announce the looks of the wii here in england.

it wont be £133 price is wired and a consloe has never been sold at a odd price it will be more like £140+ (dont forget we get charged vat must kill tax men)

It actually says it'll be no more than $250 (£133) in the US.
And remember that consoles are always more expensive in Europe than in America.

Well $250 is definately cheap compaired to the 360 and PS3 so Im not complaining :P

True also, you can buy the 360 and Wii for less than Ps3, so it's very cheap. I don't know tohugh, I mean it doesn't have Hd, and its only a little more poweful than gamecube[or so they say] so why shouldn't it be around the same launch price as the gamecube?

Well a big part of it is that with the Wii they have to cover the Research and Development of it, once they get that paid off and the market cools down a bit im sure they will lower it to $200 or below.

Dumb ass Dr. Mario at the top, if u could read correctly the first paragraph on that link says 250 or less, the price has not been gauranteed its only been guaranteed to not be over 250
