Excuse me? Why wouldn't that work? The iPod acts as a hard drive when plugged into a Mac or PC so please explain to me why that wouldn't be possible on a console?

Ipods and many other MP3 player devices act as external hard drives so stop been a smart ass and think before you post.

Idiot simply means you don't care about politics, which you probably don't, so get over YOUR SELF.

I'm not the one calling random strangers on an internet forum an "idiot", so do YOURSELF (one word) a favour and grow up. And as for that dig about politics, do you know me? No.

Yeah I know. In my defence, 1) I WAS looking at xbox stuff - hence the microsoft slip (its also 2.30am in the UK) And 2) I wouldn't use an ipod even if I was given one.
Although some people clearly have such small lives that they get angry at people making mistakes on internet forums

Bottom line:
If they allow external hard drives in the future, iPods should work. If you connect an iPod to your computer, it acts as another hard drive. You can put files on the iPod folder and then take it to another computer to load the stuff on. I've done it.
I will probably be doing this. Right now I'm only using about 2GB of my 30GB iPod. That's 28GB for Wii stuff. Hopefully they will allow this!

Your the one who just got mad at me for not spelling yourself correctly, although I did spell it correctly in the emphasis that I was using it in, I meant more emphasis on YOUR, yourself just sounds too much like one word, although it is. :P But you got me there.

No, I got angry at being called an "idiot" for making a genuine mistake. Big difference.
Actually, no, not "angry". Bemused that someone really gives that much of a crap
