Games You Loved, That Critics Didn't.
ok, i thouht this may be interesting to see what other people would post.
for me, one is tiger woods 07, for the wii, it got an avarage rating of 73.1% from major critics, but i simply freaking love this game, the controls worked great, it was a pretty deep golf game aswell, even though it lacked online, but i thought it was freaking awesome!
another game was nba live 08 also for the wii, which got an avarage rating of 56.4%, i dont know why i loved this game, but i had loads of fun with it, it could be because im an nba whore, but i dont know, bottomline, i thought this game rocked
i have a few other ones ill post later with the discussion, but right now im interested to hear yours
to find out your games avarage ranking from critics, go to
www.gamrankings.com
and use the search bar to find your game

Rampage: Total Destruction was quite a bit of fun for me (that might be because I played it through with my twin brother).

The godfather blackhand edition, it hasn't got too bad reviews, averaging at 77/100 on metacritic, loved the game and was my favorite wii game.

Red Steel.
And to be fair, a lot of critics liked it, given it was a launch title.
Most of the flak comes from the gamers themselves.

Red Steel was underrated because it was overhyped but it was a solid, fun, and introduced the future of FPS games on consoles.
Excite Truck was the best racing game before Mario Kart Wii came out.
Mario Kart Wii should be in the 90s because of the fun and innovative wheel controls and addictive online play. I have 9300 right now, almost 9999.
People who complain about Blue Shells and Bullets just suck at the game! Go Practice or you don't know how to play right!
Boom Blox: The graphics suck but the co-op mode is fun as hell. Go find someone smart to play this with because it'll make you use your brain.

Boom Blox is one of the top-reviewed games (top 10, I believe), so that one can't count -- I love it too, BTW.
As far as a poorly rated game that I loved, I'm one of the few that loves playing Wii Play. Then again, I'm a casual gamer that plays Wii only three or four days a week -- an hour or so a day. So minigames appeal to me.
