Find a computer that does not use Windows Vista.

Better yet, get your Wii online using something that is actually supported.

Nintendo discontinued the USB wifi connector back in November 2007, almost a year ago.

It's a problematic and complicated solution that even when its working is prone to a number of issues that a straight wireless router setup avoids. At this point, the cost does not justify it, and Nintendo realized this. Your money is better put towards a wireless router. Take it back and get your money back, and get a wireless router instead. It'll work, do more, be easier to support and you'll be happier in the long-run.

Sremick is correct, the product was discontinued 15th november 2007.

You're better off buying either a wii network cable or a router. The first is cheaper but the second can supply internet to your laptop/ds/ps3 etc. if you have them.

It works on vista. I use it (sparingly) and it works. I'm speaking from the DS perspective, though.

Wii has always treated the wifi connector better (I've got a router. But I connected it for kicks).

Though I had it also on my XP. It doesn't matter, the thing sometimes doesn't want to work.

Also, did you download the vista-specific software?

If not, then click this link.

But, I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY reccomend a router.
The usb thing is cheaper, though EXTREMELY limited.
