I can tell you right now gpoleweski just how HARD Japanese. No one here be fooled by my Japanese screen name. I can't speak it at all. Well, except for Eki Ushi, which means nothing - it CAN translate as Trainstation Cow. Although, a few of the online dictionaries don't like that translation, but it IS one of the translations. I did the subject for four years, I had to have got it right.
Japanese was fine in Yr 8, 9, 10... But then went to shit in year 11. I wish I could learn it though, I fully intend to visit Japan - for the skiing. I'm not overly sporty, but I love skiing. Maybe because you don't need to be ultra sporty to do it -- if you don't think so, them I'm a perfect example of this. So that makes me right. About myself. Yes.
Well, Eagles is lucky -- he gets all his marks at once. I get two whole days of panic. HSC today, and the UAI tomorrow. I guess it could have been worse though. I went good on the HSC (by my standards - Oceanic nobody needs you throwing in your nerdy low OP results) so I shouldn't worry so much about the UAI. But I am. Am I jealous of smart people? I think so. I yelled angrily at the TV when someone silly person EMAILED into Sunrise there HSC results! They did better then me in Ancient (by one mark)... So I yelled 'Who cares? Who sends their HSC results in?' Apparently they worked heaps or something. Psh. Does she want an award or something?
How is this related? I don't think it is. Forgive me! But unless you want some silly comment about my shock over Samus being a woman, then I really have nothing to contribute. I could rant about Northern NSW - Eagles got an earful earlier today. He probably had no idea about the places I was talking about! But hey, lets pretend it was a Geography lesson or something. Yes, did you know Byron Bay is the most Easterly Point? And that... Ballina and Lismore are nearby? And Tweed Heads is up near the QLD border? On an unrelated note is it weird that I like to step between NSW and QLD and say 'It's 3pm!' and 'Now it's 2pm!'

Wow, my sister came home tonight and saw I was playing GH3, interested, she watched me thrash through two songs before, becoming intrigued by this whole Wii thing. (I've had it for over a year, but it took her til tonight to realise it existed). Anyway, being into horror movies she saw I had Umbrella Chronicles sitting aroudn with two gun holders, she wants to try it and I'm thinking she'd be sick of it after 5mins....2hrs later we are still playing. Shes the sort of person that would NEVER touch a gaming system...ever.
Then she messaged one of her friends raving about Wii, and now they wanna come over and play it... Nintendo..what have you done.

Hello people! Don't worry I wasn't avoiding the internet all day because of UAI problems. Nah, I had to work. But I looked up my UAI. I got 82. I think thats a good effort. Perhaps not as good as Oceanic went, but umm... He did different subjects. Yeah, that explains it. Lets ignore that he would have done harder subjects.

I don't agree with the PS3 > 360 bit though , my Halo experience has left its mark.
gpoleweski - I've always wanted to learn Japanese. Well, ever since I saw Kill Bill for the first time. Do you learn with school or what?
Deanis - WiiMotes are another thing I don't struggle to come across. The JB Hi-Fi I go to always has them in stock, but they're always out of the 360 and PS3 controllers.

Cyber Gadget's ¥980 (USD$8.66) "CYBER lid" is so appealing: the flip up lid is gone, replaced with a series of elegant sliding covers and some rugged rubber ones for those Memory Card slots. Now we wait for the import shops to bring salvation to our side of the globe.
