The Wii isn't region free. A lot of us here are sick of waiting for release dates, so we went and ordered a Wii freeloader - something that lets you play American discs on Australian Wiis.
The UK and Australia both use PAL, though, so you'll be fine playing UK games on an Australian Wii, or vise versa.

bull dogs winning by 40 i got the rosters 26 nil u must be thinking i would lower my self to watching AFL
OK the freeloader
is something you can order on line or at some specialty stores you put in your wii first at it changes some settings yadda yadda (it is very safe unlike chipping) then you insert your disk from another region and it will work fine!

Well... I've got Brawl, and it's great... But I ordered that from America. It'd be better to get the freeloader and US games, because games get released around the same time in the UK as they do here anyway.
Mario Kart Wii is coming in like, a week. I'd hold out for that if I were you.

Because it shall be awesome, no matter what people say, only my opinion matters...
Full day today (12:02AM) Gotta do alot of assignments get my resume in at EB get the new screen for the computer and phew....All in the last week of school.
And yes, getting freeloader and games from Americva will be heaper, AndThen?'s right in say8ing that the games are usually coming out at the same time here and the UK...America, depending on game (SSBB Obviously)...An unknown amount of stupid waiting...Order it in from America, however many months before and still get it for a cheap price
