if you think that pc gaming is as good as consoles (any console) your nuts. and ill tell you for why.
if you are developing for a pc, you have to make sure that you can support all the different combinations of video cards and sound cards that are out there.
but, when you develop for a console you know EXACTLY what chipsets and ardware you develop for. that means you can use that chipset to the full extent of its power when with a pc you may have to sacrifice a bit to get it to work on majority f pcs

now ill tell you why your wrong... lets look at cod4... it has so many differnt graphical settings that even a nivida 6800 can play it with decent graphics but a 9800 can play it with awesome graphics... another thing with consol graphics you are stuck with their limits for 5 or 6years but with pc graphics they are always improving... i rest my case
I'll be seeing the Dark Knight in a few hours. Was going to see it at 12:30... But as you can see, it's 12:28 and here I am.
