I can't believe how crowded town is. It's crazy. But at least they have stopped testing the sound at the Festival for the time being.
Still waiting to hear more details about that shovel fight. Apparently happened in the Woolies carpark. Maybe over a parking space? It's hard to park there during the best of times, let alone during Splendour weekend.

about time friday came along! i'm been waiting for it all week. but i had a bad start to the morning, battery was dead in the company car this morning. but i was so happy to drive my car into work
I also have a cold here, It has worsened the last few days. I am bedridden, everyone movement and sense is screaming at me. Heck it is difficult for me to even type out this post.asda
Splendour Update: Around 1 am some drunk guy throw an empty beer bottle at a security guard standing outside one of the night clubs. The people waiting to be let into the night club decided to take matters into their own hands. The whole lot of them chased the guy across the street, easily caught him and caused the security guards to rush over and save him. A tip for the future - people defend security guards.
It's been suggested to me the guy was later scene in hospital with grazes all down his side, missing teeth and a cut up face. Of course, the hospital was crowded - particularly at 6 AM, and it's likely there were plenty of people with similiar wounds.
Oh, and don't expect to be able to use a mobile during Splendour. It doesn't work - the tower can't handle it. However, at around 6 AM mobiles WILL work, 8 AM onwards unlikely. I'm not sure how happy people will be if you call them at 6 am though.

I'm craving for a DS game now for some reason.
