ROFL bothers me more then lol. Who the hell is actually rolling on the floor in laughter? Nothing can be that funny that it removes you from your chair and causes you to fall to the floor. Even if you were standing up at the time, who falls to the ground and starts rolling around? Maybe some kind of seizure, but I don't think that's exactly a laughing moment.

Yes, but people aren't exactly having tickle fights when they say 'ROFL' on the computer are they? And if they did decide to have a tickle fight then I don't think it's what they saw or read online that caused all the ROFLness. Well, okay unless you can reach through a computer screen and tickle someone... But that's just silly.
Well, I've never seen a ROFL... I've seen someone laugh so hard they couldn't breath and they fell to the ground. They didn't start rolling though. Oh, actually, I picture the Joker as the type to ROFL - you know, set him on fire and during his 'stop, drop and roll' he started laughing. Maybe that's what Harvey Two-Face needed to do...
