I can see how ppl might have concerns over it, but apparently you can ask to have your house removed?
Im suprised they managed to get so many photos without ppl in the streets. No idea how they managed that!
People complain about anything. Woolies at Mullum, Splendour at Yelgun, this... God I hate people. It's only a matter of time until the crappy local paper starts printing letters about people whinning about this. I couldn't read the local paper yesterday - the council did a vote on moving Splendour, and the people who wanted it to stay wrote in 'Any member of council NOT standing for re-election shouldn't have their vote counted on this issue', and one of the people not standing voted to move Splendour. I bet, if the majority vote was keep Splendour, they wouldn't be bringing up that stupid argument. I hate local papers - and this one has the biggest letter to the editors section EVER! It saves on actual reporting.
EDIT - Yeah, there seems to be a lot of pictures without people! The only time I found heaps was when I looked at the streets in town. But hardly anyone around the housing areas.

In most of the ones in my area, They are either taken really early in the morning or late afternoon when the sun is setting.

When you devote some time to exploring street view you can discover some crazy things.
Didn't find this, but it looks very suspicious (is that a lockpick set dangling off his pants?)

All the photos in my area seem to have either been taken at arond 6 PM, or early in the morning. Meaning there is no one about. I also think it was the weekend too. So, not good. I didn't recognise anyone. Well, I did find someone's car. But that's not much.

the only people complaining are the ones hat have something to hide.
any thing that is visible on street view is visible to anyone that walks down the street. so tough tits, if your doing something your not meant to, you probably would have been caught anyway
But no! I demand when people drive or walk down my street that they look the other way. No way I can continue to allow this breach of my privacy! How dare people in their cars look at my house. The HORROR of it. I shall be consulting my lawyer on this clear breach of my privacy.
Yeah, okay that was a poor attempt at sarcasm.
Eh, and I can't even be bothered to finish it. So what if people can see your house, people need to get over it. It's not like your standing naked outside holding a sign saying 'Hey, murdering psychopaths come and get me!'
...Or maybe someone is. Who knows.
