Today my friend & I were talking about Nintendo, and he said "the main thing keeping nintendo alive is the DS" and i said something about the DSI coming out. He then told me The zelda team is thinking on putting Zelda on the Wii, Ps3 and the 360. He then went on saying that "Nintendo only make games for kids, you can count the mature game on one hand" (5 or 6).
he then went on about nintendo ripped off the vii, and maybe the hillchrest loop or whatever it is. then he went on about that Nintendo is making a new console for 2010, 2011 or 2012 called wii 2.0, he said it will have a dvd player, and a bigger hard drive. He then went on about the ps3, how the ps3 has motion sensing controllers and that you dion't have to have a senor bar. which i tried when he left i removed the bar found out he is full of crap.
i was thinking when i tried it, "that only for nes, snes, and those like gaming consoles you idoit and the senor bar is for when you point the bar picks up your movement. he then saids "nintendo is greedy" those are my words.

I can't believe nobody answered your questions. The picard facepalm was pretty hilarious though.

The DS has sold really well for nintendo but so has the wii. Nintendo is doing amazingly well for themselves, your friend should stop talking out of his arse.

Zelda will never be on a system that isn't a nintendo system. The nintendo team is working on a new zelda for the wii right now. It would never be on 360 or PS3. Who knows what will happen down the road in the distant future, but as of this generation, nintendo is very far from needing to put 1st party software on other consoles.

Nintendo makes games that appeal to everyone. People at every age play the wii and enjoy it so they try to appeal to everyone. Third party software developing companies have made many mature games for the wii though. Your friend is completely wrong that there are only 5 or 6 mature games. There are far more and rest assured there will be many more to come in the future.

I don't know what you mean by the vii or hillchrest loop. Can't answer that one.

Nintendo is indeed making a new console to be released in 2011. I don't see why that is so surprising though. Nintendo makes a new console every 5 years and the wii came out in 2006. I'm not certain of the specifics of it as far as hard drive and dvd player but it wouldn't be surprising if it did have these features. Either way its way too early to know what the final product will be.

The PS3 controller has a six axis motion control. This means you can tilt the controller in various directions and it'll sense the movement. The wii controller can sense movement in this way but it also knows which way you are pointing, which is what the sensor bar is important for. The sensor bar tells the controller where the TV is.

Nintendo being greedy is an opinion. It could be true it could be false but you can always support an opinion. Nintendo is a business, they exist to make money by selling products. All companies could be considered greedy as they always do what will make them the most money while satisfying the consumer just enough.

You should think twice about believing anything your friend says and ask him for sources next time. He won't have any for most of what he says because he is full of rubbish. Tell him I said so.
