can i use a gc memory card for my wii? theres alot of game info on there and i want to play on wii

I was going to try once I got a wii.

No big deal though I have to have about 10gb of 1 gb sd cards lying around this house.

Unfortunately the GC memory cards can only be used for storing GC saves. Can't even transfer them to the SD card either.

we can not even load it then take out the gc memory and save it to SD?

also it says your wii username is Gale, are you able to get them now?

Hmm...here's one....can we play GC games and save them on SD or the internal memory or can you only save GC games on the GC memory cards....?

I do have a Wii, they were released on Nov 19th here, and I waited in a lineup since 3AM to get one.

And no, you can only save GC games to your GC memory card, and cannot transfer them to the internal memory or the SD. Nor can you save any non-GC saves to the GC memory card.

The only use of the GC cards on the Wii is for your GC games- and they are required in order to save your GC data.

As I've said before: They can't add what isn't on the disc. Gamecube games don't know about any other storage than GC cards, and they aren't going to do anything special for games designed for a different system.
