Are you talking about Shaun White Snowboarding? You can play it with the standard Wii remote and nunchuck but ideally you want the Balance Board, which only comes bundled with Wii Fit.

It should say this right on the back of the game.

If you don't want to buy Wii Fit, you might be able to find a gently used Balance Board at a local gaming store or on Ebay. But yes, like sremick said, the Balance Board is probably the best way to play.
