Wii Homebrew Channels

I don't know much about developing homebrew but I think I may have found something that will help people trying to develope homebrew apps in the future. I just downloaded Super Mario 64 on the Wii shop channel and coppied it to my SD card. I then loaded it up in my computer and it showed up in this new file path. private\wii\title\NAAE, and in that folder is a bin file named content. I just thought I'd share that in hopes that one day we will be able to download homebrew and put it on our Wii as a channel.

im pretty sure that channels will have the open ness as much as Macs do with dasboard widgets, looks pretty good for the future

This really is a subject that deserves more press than it gets. Maybe I'll do my next newsletter article on it.

Thats one thing about the Wii I find myself craving.... more channels, more things to do via that interface.

Winamp should make a channel! or iTunes

I'd like apple to do a quicktime channel, so we can watch movie trailers.

All sorts of channels would be cool..........
