Where did you guys get your charger and which one did you buy? I am in the market for a rechargeable battery charger. Then I will just pick up 2 pairs of the e2 AA's.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Rechargeable batteries are growing in popularity, especially with the boom in portable electronic devices. So how do you know when you should make the investment in a charger and batteries?
Knowing the types
There are two main types of rechargeable batteries in the standard form factors:
• NiMH (nickel metal hydride)
• NiCad (nickel cadmium)
NiCad is used widely in cordless phones and electric razors. These tend to be charged before being completely discharged. This is the best chemistry for this type of operation.
NiMH battery has grown in popularity and is widely used in digital cameras and other electronic devices. With power lasting almost as long as an alkaline battery and the ability to recharge more than 500 times, you end up saving a lot of money over time.
If you use a lot of AA or AAA batteries your best bet is to buy a couple of sets of rechargeable batteries and a good charger…you’ll be better off in the long run.
Here is better information on Rechargable Bateries..go here for the actual webpage...!

Here's a cool website that actualy sells Next Generation rechargable batteries that don't lose memory for while not used..these look like another option to try out. Just finding sites and letting you decide.! Check the site out here.

And as far as a review goes, read up a few posts. I just told you I have used them and they don't last for shit. Cool you can charge them with a usb port(as if that is in any way more convenient than an outlet?) but you have to charge them so damn much they are really only useful for short term use.

I'll bet N just threw that clause in the guide as a favor to third-party accessory devs.

Yeah, they have about ten times as many charging cycles in them as Ni-Cd.

I've got a wimpy rayovac charger and 4 AA batteries.
Been using them for my digital camera, been working wonders for a year. But they'd be able to last like... 2-3 hours... Ish.
Might needa pick up some better batteries.
PS, never seen the USB batteries before. Strange things, they are.

i got a 15 minute charger and 2700 mah batteries(the biggest so far) from uniross.com specialists in rechargable batterys and u can charge them over 1000 times
also i guarentee that the usb batteries will be shit and not last as long because think about it 1/3 of the battery is the usb connection so it can hold less charge than a normal battery wich is all power

don't wry about that, I made sooo many guides yet none have ever been stickied
for example, what to expect from wii at launch and my guide to camping/staying in line/ how to get a wii on launch... none stickied so that doesn't matter
Anywho yea USB batteries are pretty cool, its nice to hear new ideas like these comming up

agreed, 3rd party brands would know better not to mess with it if it was a real hazard

For those looking for 15 minute NiMH/NiCD charger.
http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/nav...=5&item=349083
I use it, and it works awesome as heck. I know Walmart and Best Buy has this as well. It can charge AAA and AA.

There is an energizer and charger combo on sale that should be a must with every wii purchase. I went through about 3 pairs of batteries within the first 2 weeks. It goes without saying...get rechargeables.
That USB battery is wierdb but cool
