Put the sensor bar next to the tv so you stand/sit at an angle to the tv and a if a strap snaps BOOM it hits the wall and DOES NOT impale your lovely new tv. This is what I am going to do.

i dont get what people problems are, I put my starp on, get a good grip on my wiimote and dont put unnecesary strength into swings... and get a wiimote glove, works wonders

i bought a controller grip and that came with a diff strap. i havent had n.e. problems with mine snapping at all either. mayb its jus how hard ppl swing it?

yeah I never used the gloves straps, I use it as a cell phone strap.
