Finally got my Wii yesterday!

I got my wii a week ago without much of a long wait on line

I waited on line at an EBgames from 6am-10am and was number 7 on the line. The store got 9 wiis so I won

Yeah Im here in the Uk i managed somehow.To gets my hands on a Wii without preorder hehehe.
I was on amazon earlier this morning-22nd december.I noticed it said instock which truely amazed me.I instanly signed in abought it and payed £9 for postage and will be reiceving mine 23rd decmeber befor 1pm cool heh?

I recieved a email From the courier saying we will be sending your packed with a private courier and be delivered on 23rd decmeber to be honest i'm speechless.
I had ordered one with gamestation they had promised christmas delivery but when it came to it they couldn't typical birts.
Well now i got one so hah STUFF YOU GAME & GAMESTATION!

I GOT A WII ON LAUNCH DAY!!!!

i walked into K-mart and bought my Wii for $350 AUD .....easy as that, no ques no Q no nothin...

am i lucky?? ^_^

My son and I showed up at a local gaming store at 4:00am the day after Thanksgiving and were 6th in line. The store manager showed up about 6:00am and told everyone that they only had 6 Wiis to sell. By this time there was about 20 people in line all wanting a Wii. We were pumped that we were getting the last one. We went home and set it up right away and have been playing it every since.

I got my Wii on Launch day from Gamestation, I was Number 1 on the preorder list, so I had no problem getting mine. But...I havent played it yet.

My mum gave me the money to buy it, because she was at work at the time and couldnt make it in (the Wii is a Christmas present, so its all wrapped up with Zelda which she gave me money for that same day...there it has been laying, wrapped up for the past 2 weeks!)

I also bought Wii Play (with my own money) seeing as it comes with the extra contoller

Cant wait for Christmas!

I got my wii yesterday from game crazy.
they also had ps3's, but they are waaay to expensive for me...
I figured out that they were taking names to reserve one, unlike most other stores. So, I put my name down, they said, "We know we won't be getting anymore before Christmas." Yesterday, the phone rang and I saw they were calling us.
I picked it up and was amazed to hear they got them in already!!!

Now I have my Wii, Wii sports, Red steel, Twilight Princess+Collecters' Edition guide, Call of Duty 3, and 2,000 Wii points!
Lucky for me!

I've had my Wii since 9th Dec...... but I only got to play it for 10 minutes to make sure it worked before my fiance wrapped it in pretty paper. I get to unwrap it tommorrow!!! The worst thing is it was my birthday yesterday and he bought me Wii Points, Sims 2 pets on Gamecube and Red Steel on Wii.

My gamecube is sadly departed (RIP) so I decided rather than buy another GC I would wait to get my Wii. I spent yesterday staring at the Game cases counting down the minutes until I finally get my hands on my Wii!

I was browsing on amazon on 22nd december noticed they had 2 instock.I ordered one with quick delivery and recieved mine on decmber the 23rd at 8 am.In england.i was well happy and i got red steel and zelda.will get wiiplay soon

And i got it for usual retail price £180 no more there are some on amazon for £500+lolol idiots

well tomorrow finally i can get my kids to unwrap their Wii so i can hook it all up and spend a great deal of time testing it for them, before eventually giving them a turn.

I got mine a week ago at gamecrazy. Out of the blue i was on a waiting list not a pre Order list. They called and said the Wii is in.

Found the last numchuck on friday at Wal-Mart
Got the orginazer tray with 512 sd card at Best buy yesterday.

Went looking for an extra remote Best buy Circuit City Targer Walmart EB games all out of them took a shot at finding them this moring and tried Toys r Us and to my amazment they had 3 full racks of remotes so system is complete for christmas.

Zelda. Its gotten great reviews. And Red Steel people say is just horrible really. Bad design, linear play style, pre-scripted sword fighting scenes, bad storyline, and even the controls for the swords I have heard are not 1:1 movements and they aren't that amazing.

I would say Zelda.
