I got a Wii finally for x-mas! Bowling is our fav. family game, and i got Super Monkey Ball and Twilight Princess!!

preordered mine with zelda on Game's website. got it 7am on the UK launch day. no line waiting for me. i was led in bed as my mum brought it in the room......i live in luxury

Hi,
the Wii is on the table connected to the wireless router and the Wiikid is now battering my net connection.
im sure this will be an interesting ride as he keeps asking me questions i dont have the answers for so i thought id come and be a WiiDaD.
i will be lurking and learning and then helping out all the new wii'ers

Y'Know, Most of U guys waited on line for hours to get your Wii's! I waited One month later, after launch to get one with NO LINE! I got it on December 21. Plus now I know that mine wont have a defect because its a newer model. Newer than the November 19 Wii's! You could've all just waited a month later to get a better one like mine!!!

During my exams i could not buy a wii because i was to busy studying. Wen i was done i saw the news witch said "every wii in hole Europe is sold out" i was pretty angry. But there was hope i live in this little town in Belgium were (allmost) everybody kid has a ps2. And nobody knows the wii. So my dad was so smarth to go to the local toystore were 3 wii'swere on sale. He bought 2, one for me and another one for a friend. So i had one while people were bidding up to 350 dollars for a wii.

I lucked out this afternoon (12/26). At lunch, from work, I decided to try my luck around the usual spots: CC, BB, TRU...then I went to Gamestop. Lo and behold...a UPS truck was out front! He delivered 2 Wii and 4 PS3. I grabbed one of the Wii, Zelda, a mem card, and a classic controller. Now I anxiously wait for 1 hr 45 mins to go by (I'm still at work!!) so I can find Madden 97 on the way home, hook up my system, and deny myself sleep.

I got my wii yesturday for crimbo. it was a surprise I thought i was waiting til after crimbo when they had them in stock. it's great, ps3 can't beat it. who needs graphics when u got a look a like of me in shape of a mii!!!! lmao

the equation rings true. UPS Truck + GameStop + 12/26 = Wii Success.
a word of warning however. before the shipment arrived one employee told me that he was "positive" that they would not receive Wiis today. another told me that they have no idea what is actually shipped until it arrives. i waited for about twenty minutes until the UPS guy arrived. the shipment went in back and i then asked the the clerk if there were any Wiis. he looked around the store and almost reluctantly said yes. he knocked on the door of the back room and asked for a Wii. The clerks in the back room asked "who is it for?". He then handed me the Wii and said that "I got the only Free Wii" this shipment. I assume that others were in the shipment, but the clerks were probably holding them while they called their friends. pretty dirty if you ask me........but understandable. go capitalism!. (Great Mall in the Bay area by the way).

i just got a amazing deal from my friend. the wii only used 4 times, extra numchuck and remote, redsteel, zelda, need for speed carbon, 1gb memory card.
i got all this for 400, great deal right!

I awoke on xmas morning, and after opening a big present, I saw a big wii box, smiled and played on it. It was a suprise! i got the wii!!

FINALLY got a Wii at EbGames today at 11am. Thanks for the tip. Turns out that in my area EBGames and Gamestop got a shipment around 11 to noon. Funny thing was that there were about 10 people in there and I just casually walked in and asked one of the workers quietly if they had a Wii back there...he said "Yeah man you want it?" HELL YEAH. hahaha And the best part was that we hid it in bag so that no one in the store knew I was purchasing the last Wii. It felt great when a soccer mom asked one of them if there were any Wii and I thought "yeah there is one...in my bag." haha sucka.
Anyway, thanks for the help in finding one. Hope you'all don't have to wait too long in the cold...maybe you'll get lucky and casually walk in and find one...then maybe again you can't all be me. Peace.
