i got a wii for christmas from gamespot.....i love it!!

do you have to pay to do internet on it? I just got the demo and i don't know how to do the full version if the demo ever runs out.

The internet on it is awesome! you can acctually play flash games and watch movies on youtube!

i finally got mine yesterday 4 christmas. Since then i haven't put the remote down

I still havent purchased my Nintendo Wii due to a short supply of them in shops. Im really curious to find out what it has to offer in terms of Gameplay and graphics . I've heard alot about it . Many People I spoke to on various forums said they played it and said they got really tired afterwards . Either that there lazy or overwieght I dont know Lol.

Oh well I suppose Ill have to wait till the 5th to get my hands on one. I have searched everywhere to get one , but with no joy. Gamestop said they will have a huge amount comming in on the day. Fingers crossed.

Could anyone tell me what I should buy with my purchase. Like what are the best games for the wii and merchandise for it ?

I got mine through total luck. I tried to pre-order but was told I was to late everywhere. So I took my chances and tried to get one launch day... no luck. Totally gutted as my boy-friend had one on launch day and was second to get his from our local game shop. Well we were shopping for our familly in toys r us A WEEK TODAY! and I asked the guy if they had any in, he said no. Well I went and baught my brother an mp3 player and I was waiting by the window where you pick up your electronic goods from when I just asked the guy behind the window if they'd had any wiis in this week. He replied " They just came in this very minute, we're unloading them off the lory as we speak " WOO! So i ran and got myself a ticket and scrounged up all the money I could, ( had to borrow £70 off my boyfriend and take my brothers mp3 back) plus I had to borrow £2 off the guy that worked there lol!
But yay! I got my wiiiiiii and it's fekin awsome!

What are you going to get your Brother now that you put the total cost of the mp3 you were going to get him towards the Nintendo Wii? Lol

Lol, I actually had about £60 at home, I just didn't take it all with me as I had the £180 for the wii, but in Toys R Us you could only buy a bundle which was about £290. So I went and got my brother another one the next day lol!

So What do you think of the Wii now that you currently own it ?

Lol no. I dont mind though , Becuase a clerk out of gamestop told me they'll have a huge shipment comming in on the 5th so all is good

I dunno. What games do you recommend ? I heard Red steel and The legend of zelda : twilight princess are supposed to be must haves. I love Zelda anyways so ill get that.

They didnt do the game justice by giving it 8.8. Lol. And I havent even played the game yet.

I got Zelda and I would really recomend it, esp if your a fan anyway. As for Red Steel I'm not sure, I haven't played it myself but I don't think it's all that. Half of the moves you see on the trailers you can't actually do in the game apparently. If that's the case then I wont be getting it... Rayman is FUN. Pure and simple, 100% FUN. and Monkeyball is just as good, only had it x-mas day so haven't played much of it yet but so far so good, and the minigames will keep you entertained for hours on end.

i work right next to a wal mart and every morning i have been goin in right before work and askin if they had wii's i did this for 2 weeks and got very accustomed to the software guy tom and then the other day i asked and he just smiled and slapped one up on the counter i purchased it and cried a little then i got it home and my mom paid for half of it but i had to wait for christmas to open finally i ripped it open and turned it on o what magic but i have hit a snag i went out to purchase Zelda and they were all sold out but i will have it soon and i am fine with wii sports for now
