Official 'I got a Wii' thread

i got wii!!!!

walmart's shipment. went to the one nearest me and stood there maybe 10-15 minutes while a very stressed employee ran through people. i finally asked him if they were selling at midnight and he said no b/c they were understaffed but they would in the morning. [this was a 24 hour store, mind you]

booked it over to the next closest one. i arrived at 9pm and asked someone if they were going to be selling any at midnight and he shook his head yes. did some shopping w/ my dude and went back around 9.45pm to see what was stirring around there. 7 people were sitting on the floor so i joined them. turns out i was 5th in line. waited there w/ another friend watching videos on his ipod until midnight when they started ringing people up and disovered that the scanner wasn't working. i heard they got in 25 and it looked about right. couldn't say how many people showed up but i'd guess there might have been a couple that didn't get one.

sooooo happy i'm done looking.

I am one of those lucky but unfortunate people that got a Wii but had to pay 290 for it, and I'm sure a lot of people did too. At least I didnt pay 600 plus for the ps3. anyhow, glad we are all part of this Wii club

I GOT A WII!!!! Waited in line, 2 minutes for it. lol actually my dad waited about 10 min. on 1-21-07!!!!!!

Hehe. When I got mine at Target the 21st their register wasn't working at first. It was like, ahhh finally. Then, what?! I knew it was too good to be true!! They fired up the other register and got us thru.

So I look weird. So what? My parents woke me up at 8:30 AM today to tell me that they had one. Setting it up was a breeze, and thanks to wireless internet, the updates aren't taking that long.

Well, it's done updating. Now I can go on to more important things, like the Mii Channel.

I've finally got mine !!! At long last ! Along with Zelda , Wario Ware and Red Steel. But I still keep going back to Wii Sports ! I'm sooo pleased with it. It's everything I'd hoped. And I've just downloaded R-type from the virtual console. So I'm in retro heaven! Does this now mean I can be in the 'I've got a Wii ' club ?

got my wii today. the walmart out in forney tx had a good bit of them. I was suprised because I was not able to get out there early. At about 11am or so there were 6 left after mine. My wife now sees why I wanted one so bad...

Oh my and friend got his first Wii today!!!! and a ton of games I bet nintendo loves him, well me for showing him the Wii.

He saved up Xmas, Bday, and savings for these games.

I got a Wii at the 23rd. There was some in stock at the 22nd but my car broke down. I skipped class just to try and get it! But then my friend who worked at wal-mart called me up the following day, told me to get my butt down there cause they had some in. Sped all the way over to wal-mart (120kmph down every street). Got the last one!
