i got mine on april 1st at a toys r us.
i waited about two hours and i was 15/19.
weeks of searching is finally over.

Some how I never got to pre-order a Wii before launch and missed out .
And to fill the gap I ended up with a 360 core system .
I hadn't been able to get one ( life sort of got in the way ) until this Sunday just gone.
I've got a console plus Wii-play and Zelda .
And I'm stoked!

Well, I've been debating whether to get the Wii or a 360 for Christmas, and decided upon the 360..My mom said neither because I just got a PSP last year and an Xbox 2 years ago, so she was saying I had enough systems. Now, my sister works at Toys R Us, and she worked for Toys R Us about a month before the Wii was released (great timing)..On the release date, I saw her come home with a Toys R Us bag, but didn't quite see what was in it..A week or two later, she came home with 2 more bags, one I knew had a TMX Elmo in it, and the other was on her opposite side (she was holding one in each hand) again, my parents knew I wanted a 360 and a Wii, and realized the Wii had more interaction and was cheaper than the 360...I go up into my sister's room and notice there are two Wii's in her closet..My mom mentioned something to me about buying one for my cousins... So, a week before christmas, I opened my presents.. (since I went away to a different country for christmas, i got to open my presents up a couple days early)...And I was bombarded with Wii Games, so I knew I was getting a Wii, and I finally unwrapped the Wii for last. I got 2 Wii motes w/ Nunchuck, Happy Feet, Twilight Princess, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance..Along with a Mario/Yoshi themed accessories for the Wii (Wiimote skin, wii stand, wristbands) and a long with that came a 512 MB memory card...I was able to bring the Wii with me on christmas break, and I was in the Dominican Republic. (Its hot and theres nothing to do there) I basically dominated in Wii Sports and got past the Forest Temple in TP...I didn't play much Ultimate Alliance but I did like 10 missions in Happy Feet, lol.

I thought crazy people rampaged stores to get them.....

I missed the UK launch of Wii and bought an Xbox 360, i then got my pre-order notifaction 2 days later... lol, i sold my pre-order to a work colleague.

Then almost a month ago Toys R Us got a delivery of eight machines, i got lucky number 7!!!

I also bought a 42" Panasonic Plasma which makes everything look truly amazing, when i bought my 360

It's april 11th 2006 18:05 hrs and I just got a status update foyou guys I am still Wii less. Hopefully all those greedy resellers selling wii's way beyond their retail price will have a change of heart

I have had mine since July, just havent posted. My son plays it to death. I traded a 360 for it and the guy also gave me an additional $40!! The things you do for love??

I bought mine last wednesday. Drove back to work connected every up, plugged it into the projector and i was away.

Wii Sports won me over, funny how the whole family and friends all get into these games. Everyone wants a mii created.

Super Mario Bros brought back all the memories, when i played as a young kid

(Funny how my gf knows more secrets in that game than i ever did).

Well I got my Wii on my birthday, 8th of February, actually the same day as I first registered in this awesome forum. In that day I bought only one game, LoZ: TP, of course. But now I have a lot of games and I still want many, many more...
