lol looking for a wii was a hard. i had to call every gamestop, gamecrazy, walmart, target, costco, circuit city, sears, best buy, every place that sold electronics and every where in san jose was sold out. then one day i drove down south to OC for a family party. and whatta you know... my cousin worked at gamestop and hooked me up with one of the last three. nice....

Hey all,

I'm new to the boards. I guess I kind of cheated and bought a wii on eBay. It just got here today, and I am all kinds of excited to finally have one of my own.

I've played wii a good bit, but owning should be a whole new game.

Anyone have a good place for me to start reading?

Had my wii since its launch date in the UK. My girlfriend pre-ordered it me so i was a happy chappy, however it was a christmas present so i had to wait until then to play on it!

I bought my husband a wii just yesterday with my first paycheck from my new work at home job. He'd been going back and forth about getting one since he got home from deployment in Dec. I decided that as soon as I could, I was going to go ahead and get it. That was yesterday. We're in a small town so all there really was to call was gamestop, walmart and kmart. gamestop had none but walmart had two and told him to hurry. by the time he got there, he got the last one.

We got our Wii about 2 weeks ago @ Toys R Us.....but all of the accessories between Target and Walmart.

4 controllers & 4 nunchucks

2 Nyko chargers

Wii Sports

I love this system!!! I think I am more hooked than my kids are!

I still dont understand the whole Mii Parade thingie though....do you keep them there or put them in your plaza? LOL I know I am a dork, but I need to sound like I know what I am talking about for my kids sake!!!! thanks!

i got mine today off ebay i didnt wait and got it less then retail hahaha dumb ass put 99 cents as starting bid and it got up too $2.35 with free shiping. but i spent a extra $5.00 for insureence

I am new here and just got one last night actually. I really am not a hardcore gamer, but I was hooked after setting up and playing my friend's system a month or two ago, I got a Mario game with mine as well as Sports and really only messed with tennis and bowling so far with a friend, but I couldn't find one for awhile anywhere. My friend located one of 8 that sold out in one day and grabbed it for me.

I looked all over and it cost me about $320 with a game so I'm cool with that.
