Just got our Wii this morning! Target in Broadview (a suburb of Chicago) had several. No line or waiting customers. Apparently they didn't know it was coming in. Thanks to this forum I knew. I went to Best Buy 1st-nothing, then Toys R Us-nothing. I said what the hey... went down the street to Target and SCORE!!!! We bought the Wii as a Christmas present but we kept getting the error message and so we returned it. Haven't been able to find it since. Thanks you guys for the information! The kids are so extremely happy and excited!

I got one at the weekend, its great. Didn't think I'd get one originally, but now I have I'm very happy. Wii sports, sonic and mario at the olympics, wii play and raving rabbids 2 is what I have. Probably trading in raving rabbids and maybe play too as not that much fun.
May trade in raving rabbids 2 and play though for mario galaxy?

I never thought I would buy a Wii neither and I won this shopping spree and still after hearing about it from people from work and seeing someone play it I didn't really want one. Then out of the blue I changed my mind and realized how fun it sounded and the girl at work kept telling me about all the games and how she loved hers.. Plus I had this new 40 inch TV and wanted a Wii all of a sudden. I haven't even opened my Olympics or Wii Play yet and just got the other day Game Party and Pinball. Am going to try dance revoltution here in a bit. I still love bowling it's my favorite and Carnival games is alot of fun. I have to finish checking out all the games it has. But I am glad I got one it's fun. And I am glad people on here are finding them. Rose

Went to Future Shop yesterday because their website said the store by me had them in stock. When I asked for one a kid like the one on the Simpsons that works in the fast food place etc etc said they didn't have any.

Called back today on a hunch that he had no idea what he was talking about and they had a ton of them in stock. Glad I called back I am having fun playing it.

I finally played Tennis and Baseball last night. Tennis was fun I played it a bunch. Baseball I couldn't hit the ball good at all but I could pitch LOL! I did hit the ball a couple times. But then I did Wii Play and I love some of the games on there. I got up to Pool and had 3 balls left and quit I don't like pool but then I think I was suppose to finish to open up a new game so I goofed there. But I am addicted to it also. Carnival games is a lot of fun too. I tried DDR but didn't really know how to do it will have to try it again sometime.

My coworker was wanting a Wii I am hoping she was able to get one this weekend. 270 off e-bay is a good price.. I may tell her to check e-bay.

My husband gave me a Wii as an early birthday gift this past weekend. I didn't know this but he had been searching all over and finally found one at Fred Myer! He had it all wrapped and ready to go for my birthday at the end of April, but he just couldn't wait any longer (maybe that is because our other gaming system got sent back for a new video card and we have been without it for a few weeks ). It has been a lot of fun learning all about the Wii-I hadn't done any research prior to getting it, only played it at a friend's home a couple of times.

Our kids have been pooling their money and saving fot their Wii for a month or so now. They got close to half of it, so my wife and I said if we found one we would surprise them by kicking in the 2nd half. We both got out of work early the other day to go out to lunch together, and on the way my wife called gamestop (we had been in the store the night before and the manager told us to call everyday about 11:00), and the UPS guy had just dropped off five of them. We were going to lunch right across the street, so we went there first and picked it up! The kids love it! My wife even loves playing it!

The local Wally World (Wal-Mart) received 15 Wii systems on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. Not quite sure which. I bought mine last night, and bought Super Mario Paper. Fantastic system, wish I could've gotten one sooner. My parents and I stayed up til about 4am playing bowling and golf.

I haven't even opened it up yet. Kind of debating on if I should wait till my birthday.

See I bought it for myself, but thought that if my uncle was willing to spend $250 on an Apple TV for my birthday, then he should be willing to front the $250 for a Wii. So I mentioned it to him and he said sure.

So I could open it now or I could open it on my birthday which is in 25 days.

I got mined on April Fools day so when I told everybody they didn't believe me. Best Buy got a random stock in at 7 P.M. so I ran there and there was about 20 piled on the floor. I bought the system and Zelda right there and I love it so far.

I've gotten three Wii consoles online.

The first was when a friend said on Thanksgiving, "I want a Wii for my kids for Christmas, but I know I'm not going to be able to get one." I like a good challenge, especially for my friends. The Friday after Thanksgiving, by dumb luck, I noticed at 3AM Eastern that they were for sale on Amazon. Alas, I was too late. But I had a feeling that if they were on sale at 3am, they'd be on sale again at 3pm. Sure enough they were, and I finally got one for her. She was quite surprised and thrilled.

Then my brother said if I got another one, he'd like to have it to give to his grandchildren. By using Wiialert, I managed to score another in time for Christmas. I was torn between keeping it for myself and selling it to him. In the end, I decided I wanted a digital camera instead, and sold the Wii to him (at my cost).

Then a few weeks ago, I decided I really wanted a Wii. I set up Wiialert again that weekend. Monday or Tuesday morning at 9AM, I got an alert that Sears.com had them in stock. Fortunately, I have a job with internet access, so I hopped right to the site and scored. It was delivered this Monday.

So now I have a Wii of my own.

All in all, I didn't have many problems getting the Wii when I needed (or w
