Canadian best buys

Alright so my eb games didnt get any shipment in today so i think ill be going to best buy tommrow for there shipment is anyone else going/? and if it opens at 10 is 7 good enough?

Ya i think so, But i have to say that wii line ups for Canada aren't as 'hardcore' as US there isn't always lines

Canadian Best Buys should be in extended winter store hours now (according to the website at least), so they actually open at 9am tomorrow. Whether that means you need to line up an hour earlier, I have no idea. I'm still debating whether I want to risk the frostbite tomorrow morning.

No Canadian shipments are not the same as the US ones. US has gotten plenty of shipment when Canada has received none ever since the 2nd one.

Although I gotta say I have a preorder ready at compucentre, #14 in line ever since the first shipment, so whenever they come, I'll get one. That's if they ever do come

And yes it is that slow in Canada, the stores are still answering in a pleasant voice when I call them :P

My Brother Is going to the one in downtown toronto, its on his way to school...
So i dunno if i will be able to get one cause he said only 'maybe' he will go downtown ( He has exams on saturday and so tommorow he said only if he goes downtown will he go >CHECK< ) So i wouldn't be surprised if i didn't get one.
Although i have a pinch of a feeling, i dunno why but it's telling me i am going to get one on Saturday from Toys R Us o_O Is that weird or what...

Same here, I think i signed up for 5 differant electronic companies just to find out if they are getting shipments, so far Toys R Us' newsletter is the less reliable

My best buy has only 18 wiis tommrow so i dont know if im going anymore its about a 45 minute drive away so there no way if i kno ppl r they yet so i think im bailing on the idea kinda pissed how there only getting that many

You called. Cause bestbuy's are supposed to be getting 20 minimum, maybe the staffs said that because they are reserving them for friends or something >=(

Best Buy said 20 minimum per store on the Friday of launch week, and that was their second shipment. They been hoarding whatever they got since then and have just said 'limited supply' for tomorrow, same with the PS3. The Best Buy near where I live told me they have 18 as well, so I'm probably not going to bother since I'm without a car. I really wish Nintendo would send more Wiis to us canucks. It's been almost 2 weeks without any stock around here, according to the stores.

Ya, really eh?. I just joined recently to try and figure out where the Wiis are going, but we just don't seem to be getting any stock anywhere. There's a rumour my local Zellers is supposed to get some in this week so I might go there early on Saturday. They were supposed to hold them for the Saturday flyer 2 weeks ago and someone put them on the floor early, and they were gone before they could pull them off. If they aren't there this weekend, I think I'm going to give up til after Christmas. I'm getting tired of calling the same places every other day, and I'm sure they are tired of people calling them every day.
