Anyone have experience with camping at Futureshop? Will they have it as soon as they open or during store hours? Planning to camp out Sunday the 17th but having doubts..

Futureshop is unreliable. I've called them a million times, and they never give definite answers. And when they do, it's often wrong. The deal is: if you're in the store when they recieve shipments (which they claim are totally random, and can happen at any time), then you'll get a Wii. But otherwise, they sell out insantly. Same situation with Wal mart.

I live in Thornhill, Toronto, Ontario, and I camped outside of Best Buy last night/this morning. They only had 6 systems for a line of ~50. I was first! But Best Buy usually holds all of their Wii (regardless of when they get them) for Friday morning, so it allows you time to make arrangements. I showed up at 6PM, Thursday night, and by 9PM, we already had 10 people in line for the 6 systems they were getting. So you're gonna have to get there early.

Also, I hear Toys R Us and Zellers are getting shipments in for tomorrow morning...better line up now!

k so the nearest toysrus to me is getting about 20 wii's but its about half an hour to get there, but a zellers near my house is 3 minutes away but they're only getting 3. which one should i go to? i can only start camping out at 4 am

ToysRus are getting a minimum of 20 each store thats for sure, if you can afford camping i'd say go there.

I got my Wii! Number 17 of 23 at Best Buy in Richmond... I got there are 7:30pm for that #17 ticket the night before... number 1 had been there since 3pm - 18 hours before the Wii went on Sale. There was a huge windstorm, I'm windburned, I'm sore, but I have a Wii...

Toys R Us and Zeller's have confirmed for Saturday, TRU is supposed to have 20 per store.

Futureshop also indicated they're getting Wiis today or tomorrow.

Camped from 11:30pm to 7:15 am to find out I was 23rd and they had 22 Wiis at ToysRus. At least the girl that had 22 was compassionate and gave me a hug as a consolation prize lol

you lucky, i camped out at around 11:30 to and when the store opened they were like we were getting 29 wiis but we only have 25( i was 27) so they come up to me and say u should go home (only me)so i leave come back like an hour later to get food for my friend who btw was 1st and theres like 30 people there and the employes are like we have enogh wiis to suit your demands we let three people in at a time at 7 or 8. So i called my dad and he yelled at the manager (on the phone) and before you knew it i had a wii....J/k thet just gave me a 10 dollar gift card bas$%^& also my friend was a girl thats why i came back(cant leave a girl unguarded)

ps. anybody know if there gettin them tom...if so then ill going t get some sleep and leave like at 8 to stand there.

No more shipment for Canada till monday, take the rest of the week end to replenish energies

17th = US dates
Stores in the US start their sales on Sunday, Canada starts theirs on Saturday, hence why the numerous dates mentionned everywhere

I quit, bought mine on ebay 20 minutes ago. Good Luck everyone.

So would it still be wise to just go the 17th, just to be safe?

Hmm... I've been hearing people saying that on Friday the 22nd Best Buy Canada's will get shipments. If so, did anyone hear anything regarding this?

ya its true i was there this morning and the guy said that they'll get a shipment buy the wy zellers and toyr us had a shipment this morning to but i got there too late and they had sold out oh well guess im on the hunt again
