The news is wrong, when i got my wii i just walked into walmart and it was there. But i guess you have to be rlly, RLLY, lucky for this to happen.

so did you get one? I went there today at like 4:00am and some guy with a list told me that there were already twelve people in line and there were twelve consoles. I was 13th! Also do you know if best buy is getting some more next week?

I went to FutureShop today, stayed for about 4 hours waiting for a shipment. 20 minutes after I left they got a shipment -_-
Anyone know the next shipment for Vancouver stores?

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows the method to the shipping madness with some of the major retailers. Mainly Toys R Us, Walmart and Zellers. I know Bestbuy gets em fridays (or really late thursday night). Ebgames is just hopeless (so are most other places).
I've been searching for a few weeks now, its seeming very bleek. The crappy thing about it is, I work so I cant camp out too often, ive been calling places non stop. But a friend of mine decides to go to walmart one day, and out of the blue has a Wii and picks one up. Similar thing happend to another friend of mine at toys r us. Its really starting to $!#@'n piss me off.
If anyone has any valueable info as the weekend shipments or beginning of the week shipments, please post.

Hey guys I'd stick around but I have to go PLAY MY BRAND SPANKIN NEW WII!
got one at ebgames in micmac malll yesterday, called everywhere that sold Wii's in Dartmouth, turned out the one in Halifax had 3 this morning and sold out and Future Shops were on transport. So I went to EB Games with 20 people in front of me but they were all there for returns. I got one of 6 left.

YES! I finally got one! Well not in Canada, I went to New Bedford in Providence, Massachusets (dunno how to spell). I wish for luck to all of you guys that you guys get ur wii soon. Later

Haha, you mean to get a Wii?
You'd have even worse luck getting a Wii in a small town. Less stores. I live in a town of 8000, and the only places that get shipments are in nearby cities that have actual STORES. I decided I didn't want to wait 5 months to get a Wii and just got one on eBay. There's not enough stores around here for the number of people that want to get a Wii, and all of the people in those aforementioned cities GET TO THE STORES BEFORE I CAN :'(

What time did you find one at MicMac? I was there yesterday with no luck

Hello everyone, Im new to these forums. I live in Canada, where the local TRU gets constant shipments, but of course my christmas gift was a certificate to the local mall. This leaves me with an EB games, and a Source store which sells Wiis.
Does anyone know how their shipments work? The guy at EB games said first thing in the morning, but I read in another thread they receive it at noon. Do either of them have weekend shipments? Sorry if its all been covered somewhere in this thread, It just seems counterproductive to read posts from November to now :/

Which Futureshop did you go to? I got a call yesterday from the Futureshop in West Vancouver saying they had put on aside for me and that I could come by anytime to pick it up. Only had been on the waiting list for almost a month, but well worth the wait.
