i'm not crazy about it anymore. Sure the wii is fun and cheap but the extra add ups is a lot of money to fork over.

320$ for the wii
60$ for a wii game
49.99$ wii remote
49.99$ wii nunchuk
49.99$ SD memory card

you add that up its $530, not including tax. lotta money to spend rite there

sd cards are like 20 for a goos one
a wii is 280 ot 320

Thats true, but still cheap, and you dont really need all those extras off the hop, you can get started with just the wii and a game obviously.
its alot better than:

$549.99/$659.99 Ps3
$70 for a game
$30 for an intercooler (haha stupid ps3 needs an intercooler)
$40 for another controller (estimated)

added up with premium package = thats 800 not including tax.....now thats alot of money. I could buy a wii, a game, nunchuck, wiimote, sd mem card, wii points card(2000 points), and a classic controller, and still have enough money to buy another wii before taxes.

If you ask me everyone should be out to get a wii (it seems that way because i still havent gotten one. Hopefully tomorrow is my day). The revolutionary controls should be enough to get ppl hooked. Get interactive with your games!

Yes, I know.... I live In Mississauga,Ontario and Now Im just going to wait for my pre-order instead.. Im still going to call nearby stores to just check but ya. Called my local ebgames yesterday and they said to call back around 9:30-10 or just come check by.... Bestbuy said in 1-2 weeks. Rest dont evne know...(probably lieing)

Hey everybody! I got my Wii this morning!!!

I live in Montreal, and I went to the future shop in downtown, I was there at 8h50 (the store opens at 10h00). I was the only one until 9h30, and then, by 10h00, I think there was around 50-60 people waiting, and they only got 9! I was sooooo happy!

So I know now that they got shipments the last three wednesdays (including today), and I'm pretty sure they got some on the last few fridays too... So your best chance , if you live in Montreal, is to go on wednesdays or fridays at around 9h00-9h30 and you'll probably have a Wii waiting for you inside!

I have a friend who works for future shop and she said its true that they don't know when they are receiving shipments. She said a lot of the time customers have a better idea of when they are receiving wiis than employees do.

Hey b3rs3rk, I was the 7th people in the line waiting for wii, in Futureshop downtown Montreal. I had been desparate for wii for months, and now I finally got mine.

I would say I was pretty lucky this time. I passed by Futureshop downtown Montreal at 9:50 am during my short work break, seeing like 50-60 people waiting outside. I thought, "damn, I miss it again". But wth, I jumped into the line and waited. I had been waiting for hours in lines in front of BestBuy, EB Games etc. and got nothing. Now it wouldn't hurt much any more.

When the door open, I found out that a lot of other people were just waiting to enter the door, but NOT for wii. LUCKY!!! I was the 7th in the line for wii. And they said they had 10 (instead of 9, mentioned by b3rs3rk). In the mean time, a saleperson was anwering phone calls querying about wii. He did mention that they may get some on fridays and wednesdays.
