Congrats MaXiMiUS, seems like I'll have to visit some stores from time to time.

Why haven't you bought wii remote/nunchuk before? I got my wii after around one month of search. In the mean time, I had already bought a wii remote, a wii nunchuk, a wii classic controller, and a wii component cable, well before I got the wii. It may sounds a little bit odd. However, as soon as I got the wii, I could start to play it with friends right away.

I agree with you there. I bought Zelda, Rayman and Super Monkey Ball on launch day, 2 classic controllers, 2 nunchucks and 2 wii remotes the following week, and Trauma Centre and Elebits in mid December. It is somewhat frustruating that the items have been sitting dormant next to my PS2 and Gamecube for the past while but hopefully in the next month, my fortunes will change and I'll get the system. Luckily when I do get the system, I won't have to hold out hope that extra controllers will also be in stock.

Wii in Calgary
For you Wii hunters in Calgary, I've heard Shawnessy Wal Mart gets deliveries Wednesdays between 1 and 4 and Macleod Trail Future Shop gets 1-2 deliveries a week on random days but it is usually overnight so best to check when they open. Also, I've heard that you can order from Rogers Video and that they will call you when your system is in and hold it for a day. Unfortunately I'm limited to Future Shop as that is where I have a Wii's worth of gift cards and my wife refuses to let me buy it anywhere else because "that's what the cards are for"! Pwned.

Everyone still says none in stock every time I go in fact they just say it as soon as I walk in most places. It is getting really annoying. plenty Ps3's available which I also want but not at this time.

Saw the saddest thing in Walmart today (Ottawa). In the space where there should be Wiis, they were putting all their extra PS3s. Then I noticed that there were some PS3s in the extra Xbox360 space too. I couldn't believe it. The PS3 section was full, the Xbox360 section was full, and the Wii section was full, all with PS3s! They were swimming in them. But alas, as usual, no Wiis.

Which Walmart in Ottawa? The newest one around the corner from my work was empty of all 3 consoles. Ottawa East Walmart on Railroad or Terminal Ave. I let you know if I find a store that is stocking Wiis but I am sure as soon as they are in they will be out too.

I've been following this thread for the past couple of weeks looking for news as to where to get my Wii in Brampton, ON.
So, when I picked up my Wii about an hour ago, I knew I had to create a user account here to let people know that they have Wiis at BestBuy Bramalea City Centre. I believe the guy said they had about 30. So go git it!
No extra controllers though.

The Walmart in Barrhaven. I'm on a waiting list at the Rogers Video in Stittsville, but that will likely take a couple months. I'm 30 or so on the list and they get like 3 a week. I don't mind waiting too much, but I keep checking just in case
I will likewise let you know if I stumble on some Wiis in the Ottawa area.

Today I got my wii. I'm so happy I could cry. I was hiding this info from everybody, but Blockbuster gets shipments on Wednesdays from 12-2 in the afternoon. They get wiis everyonce and a while. That's where I got mine. HAPPY HUNTING!

Well, my wife went into Future Shop Macleod for me this morning and asked where on the shelves they put the Wii when it's in stock. The guy said that they don't; they wait for customers to ask. I have been spending the last month going in, looking and leaving, rarely asking. Pricks...
