A friend of mine just successfully ordered a Wii from Best Buy online using http://www.consolewatch.com
It scans all of the Canadian stores where you can buy a Wii online (Amazon.ca, Best Buy, Future Shop, Costco, The Source and Toy's R Us) for online stock every 30 seconds, and will give you an audible alert or email when stock is added online. You can also subscribe to an RSS feed. For those of you still trying to track one down, this site might help.

Yeah i'm sure by now all the people that would be crazy enough to sleep at the store got one already. In december the Toysrus was full at 4 am but now, in the cold, 6 am should be ok. Thank god I got mine on dec 28th.

i just got my wii today in hmv in metro
i guess they have pretty much stock ....
becoz on weds, my frd saw 3 wii there.
and today i saw 5 wii, and i got one.

arg... good luck if you went at 6. I tried just before nine and there was a huge lineup. This sucks.
