I heard that Nintendo is going to lowball the price to attract more people to the Wii. But has there been a more percise hint as to the price?

A lot of people are guessing that it will be $200-300, but Nintendo hasn't announced a price yet.

From what I hear, the Wii is going to cost around $250.

The price will be announced this summer.

Hopefully it will be $199 just like the past Nintendo systems. I hope we don't have to wait untill the TGS for a final price and release date.

Nintendo would seriously shoot themselves in the foot if it went above $250 USD. I mean, every one is raving for the low price versus the competition, whether they compete or not.

EDIT: Sorry, that should've been 250, it was 150 before. TYPO!

Nintendo has historically released their consoles at $199 USD. I guessing $199 USD.

$199 is roughly £105, so with the traditional added cost of consoles in Europe, expect to pay around £120.

Every single Nintendo console from NES to Gamecube has been $199. Some bundles sold for more, but the basic setup has always been 199.
May as well bet on that being the cost until Nintendo says different.

lol i can handle 99p now concidering a 2pence piece is now worth 3pence becoze the price of copper has gone up in value lol so 99p isnt any trouble ^^
