hi i need 20 people that have wii to tell me if something happened to it after they updated just so when i get it ill get a warranty with it

Nintendo's quality is awesome anyways, tons of YouTube videos to prove it anyways. However 40 for 3 years is not that bad at all.

my Wii has been working flawless since i bought it. I did buy the extended Bestbuy warranty because i do live in a Dorm.

why would you need an extended warranty for this reason? If something is going to go wrong with a new Wii I'm sure it would happen within the normal store exchange period. I doubt you are gonna flash your firmware and that will cause your Wii to die a year later.

Don't get the store warranty. The way the Wii stores stuff will render some of your stuff inaccesible if you bring it in for an exchange (such as VC games).

Nintendo has an excellent customer service, and have a 90 extension to their warranty if you get 3 Nintendo products.

Its suppose to be if you register your Wii you get 90 extention to your warranty. If you want 3 free mags, than you just register 3 games or 3 systems, it can be anything even a gamecube will count if you haven't registered it yet.

The warranty is probably overkill, unless you're very risk averse and really value the comfort of knowing you'll never have to pay to get it fixed or replaced.
If it doesn't break down in the initial warranty period, it's not likely that it will break down in 3 years. In gaming systems, either you get a lemon or you get a workhorse.
