What's wrong with my Wii? Help.

The blue light around my discdrive won't light up.
It's been driving me crazy since I got my Wii.
I thought it was supposed to turn on when you put a game in but mine doesn't.
Can anybody help me out??

it doesnt turn on when you put a game in it turns on when you have a new message,to turn it on send a email from you wii to your computer and then reply to it on your computer and just dont read the message and it will stay lit

yup. do you have your hooked to the internet? If so, add people (make sure you tell them) and when they message you, it'll glow blue

I think people have said this before...and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work at all because when you turn on the Wii, if you have a message, the light goes off when you turn it on.
