If i get this at launch

i dont think it will use old gamecube controlls, might be similar but with some new wii controls.

Nope it will use the GC controls. I don't know who but one of the developers said that sometimes too much interaction can get in the way of a game so they're looking to use a more traditional control method for SSBB, and then they said 'the Wii has four GC controller ports so don't throw your old GC pads out just yet'.

so you will be forced to play SSBB with a GC pad or will you just be disadvantaged if you use the Wii-mote?

you cant use the wii-mote. You either use GC controllers or the new "traditional" controler thats got a simalar set up.

really that means if you were thinkging of buying a gamecube (like me i've only ever borrowed my friends) that means you can just get a GC controller and buy a GC game and your set

s,pose so. i actually only have 2 controllers and i need to sell one for my GC set to recieve more money.
And anyway my interest lies with one player games. id buy all the multiplayers for the wiimote.

once again game designers arent goign to mmake a game that doesnt use the consoles controllers that would be stupid and i think im my opion that the retro controller wont be with the back then they would have games that would use the normal controller

Maybe you hold the controller horizontally? Anyway it doesn't matter.. just by one of them new ultra-cool classic wii controller

looks good, and u can still play SSBB if the Wiimote doesn't work..
