I disagree with the Sega characters in Brawl, it is a Nintendo TM, so why add characters from other brands, in this case - SEGA. If you can recall, Melee said ONLY FOR on the top of the Gamecube box, if they include this, I think it would not apply very well giving that there are characters from other brands, which means it could be on the SEGA Genesis...although you'd have to be very thick to beleive that. Anyway, my whole point is that it's misleading.

Okay, why are people saying sonic doesnt belong in brawl because of brawl being for nintendo characters... come on now, snake is already in it, if thats not 3rd party i dont know what is. So my point is sonic wouldnt stand out to much on brawl and he would be a nice feature, I would enjoy him.

can someone help me see what's so good about sonic? i mean he really isn't all that special...but for me it doesn't matter if he's in it or not, after all it's another playble character so nothing to complain about..

sure, he would be a nice addition, but wouldnt anyone? Honestly, for a game like ssbb the more the merrier. If I had the option of putting sonic in i would put him in, but not because he is sonic, just because he is another option for players to choose. imo, a lot of the people that want sonic in the game dont necessarily want him in particular. They just want more people in the game and he is the most speculated one to be added, so he is the prime character to whine about not being in the game.

Imagine going back in time, when Nintendo and Sega where the leaders of the console wars... then take 1000 gamers and make the following poll:

"What do you think its the most unlikely thing to happen during your lifespan"

a: See aliens coming to earth and and share stuff with humans

b: See Jesus and God and meet them personally

c: See World peace become a reality

d: See all those who destroy the enviroment become Greenpeace members

e: See a Sonic game appear in a nintendo console and not only that but, also, an official game where BOTH Sonic and Mario appear and battle each other...

What would the results be?

Look YES its great to have a lot of options in fighting games. But we don't want a clusterf*ck of over 60 characters. Thats just kinda ridiculous if you ask me. But w/e I'm sure down the line that the roster will keep getting bigger to satisfy these dumbos who want any random character from the game they like in it. As for Sonic hes not that big a deal and I truly hope hes not in the game. However the way some Nintendo fanboys are acting it won't surprise me if he is in there just so its guranteed to be a success.

I was lazy to answer this post but seeing the ignorance and stupidity I had to...anime characters? in Brawl? you must be really dumb, my friend, there's only videogame characters, characters that originated in Nintendo consoles, but as for Sonic that would be the exception if he's in it, and I really hope he's in there, my bro is a fan of him and it would be a nice addtion.

I say stick him in, after all the more the merrier. There must be hundreds of people who drool at a chance to have a Mario vs Sonic duel to the death, myself included.

To those who moan and whine about Sonic in SSB may I suggest something? How about you just don't go him? Its quite simple really...

As for others I really think, bar 2 or 3, it should be Nintendo based. Say 3 major franchise characters (Snake, Sonic and say...I don't know Viewtiful Joe or something) would be perfect, although I honestly don't think any more third party charcters bar Snake will appear.

Oh wow! Im not that dumb, its just suggestions. Sonic is pretty gay. Sonic, I don't know man, he seems quite childish. Its all good, I don't wanna beef with ya.
