RPG stands for Role Playing Game. It is primarily used to descibe such games as Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. Hope this helps!

This is also Pokemon, however loosely.

^_^ RPG has subgenres aswell, such as Strategy-Role Playing
Action roleplaying etc, KH1/2 = A an action RPG as well as zelda, then theirs traditional RPG's whcih are turn based such as Final fantasy. just means for you to "play the role".

The most defining characteristic of an RPG is that it involves your character "leveling up."
