Gamestop has recently added a listing for a Wii title under the name of Pilotwings scheduled for release this December.
Although this is no confirmation the game is in fact being developed and scheduled for release, previous Gamestop listings, such as Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, have proven to be accurate and true.
Pilotwings is a flight simulator of sorts, challenging players to successfully soar through the air via skydive, plane, gyrocopter and more. Pilotwings and Pilotwings 64, released on SNES in 1990 and Nintendo 64 in 1996 respectively, received solid praise. After a rumored third iteration for GameCube crash-landed, many were disappointed.
