When playing the game with alternate character items (like guns) does the cut scene match or is it always the default item set?

CRAP. So it is official that the gamecube version is better than the Wii version.

Ill explain. The PS2 was a port of the GC version. The PS2 version had its polygon counts reduced. The GC version used the game engine for cut scenes so your character always matched whatever you were playing with. The PS2 had its cut scenes prerendered using the GC graphics (so you are actually watching the better GC graphics on the PS2 cut scenese).

The Wii version is direct port of the PS2 version, complete with reduced polygon count and prerendered GC cutscenes. The GC and PS2 were both capable of digital audio which the Wii isn't able to.

The PC version is also a port of the PS2 version but you are able to play it in higher resolution (still with reduced polygon count)

In short get the GC version for better graphics or the PC version for the extra features.

El gigante is cake if you drop the boulder on his head before you shoot him. It only takes a few shots after that. the rocket launcher is a waste of upgrade money. Lovin some RE4 the wife loves to play it too.
