How many areas/chapters are there in this game? I'm in the castle and gonna replay from start of this area to try and get more ammo but am thinking that this is not very far into the game at all. Is there loads more to come?

if ur on 3.1 there are 12 more chapters. some are short; the ones on the island are long. final chapter consists of only a boss.
EDIT: I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!
on the GC version you could do a backflip on your jetski by pressing L + R,
how u do that on wii? i tried pressing A + B at same time, and ive tried waving at the right time, too....

Walk up the stairs as soon as you see the cut scene do a 180 throw a grenade or fire grenade, go to the right side taking out the guys coming at you stay on the right corner wall and be aware of the guys to left, especially the one that has a parasite move from corner to corner making sure ashley is behind you, if it is a single enemy shoot head kick and slash if you can, if you get a crowd around you pull out the shotgun after you have finished all the reg dudes, leave ashely upstairs and go for the red coat guy blow of his head and take out the parasite with a well placed rifle shot.
and for the love of god people use the red9 it is so bad ass looking why wouldnt you want to use it
well I finally got to the next save point and still have a decent amount of ammo leftover . For both major waves I stood in the corner near the door. For the 2nd wave I ran out of the platform room shooting. I tried staying in there once but the hole in the ceiling made it a bit hairy.
Oh, most ppl probably know this already, but after the blind slasher shoot the hanging flame when the 2 crazies are underneath (one or both die instantly). In the next room shoot the actual stick of dynamite to blow up all 3 crazies.
Im at the part where i got all three ornaments to open the main entrance, Im guessing im almost out of the castle, I have some much money and treasures I dont know if i did really well or its always like that alot of red9 ammo shotty ammo and enough rifle to feel good...
yeah ure nearly out but soon there is a pretty dam hard boss i died loas of times then i bought the broken butterfly and won very quickly trust me that guns very usefull for the upahead chapters.
p.s im on the island after tha castle its pretty hard and scarier but still overall not very scary game for me

No I'm a good bit into the next part of the game but running low on ammo
Why the hell don't those dudes sell ammo!
My advice for the house part. Dont block every window block the two in the corners leaving the other to open blast those peasants faces as they start piling in they will drop plenty of ammo also use the flash grenades for the plagas

ppl seem to have issues w/ ammo on this game
its cuz in the original GameCube version the enemies dropped handgun ammo more plentifully
however on the wii its easier (and faster) to headshot enemies, so the game was evened-out by holding back ammo a bit
i was sorta concerned when i replayed this game on wii and i had only 1 or 2 boxes of handgun ammo when usually on GC i'd have so plenty that i wouldnt have to wry about teh pistol

Well done on getting thru gnahc79, was it easier this time? Great tip about shooting the hanging light, I should have rembered that one seeing as I blew myself up with that when Ishot it just on the offchance that there might be a reward in it!!
Do you all check all the pictures, found out by accident that some of them have money behind them.

i just blocked off all the windows, then hiked upstairs so when they go up the stairs i could just burn 'em w/ the IG. then as they come up the ladders just hit them w/ the shotty.
